Who is Reilly Peacock?

Created somewhere between Westbourne Park West London, and Canvey Island via Perth Australia. Started in 2006 by Pete Helmer, former guitarist with 80’s underground psychedelia band Le mat. A collection of songs he had knocking about in his head needed a home. After a few solo acoustic gigs, he decided he needed a band, so armed with an obsession for the workings of the human psyche, and all things curious in the world, he set out on a long journey only to find himself on Canvey Island – home of all music ever. then & There, the Reillys were born!

Described as a ‘quintessentially English’ band, they have a wide set of influences from Ziggy Stardust, through the psyche of London, to the strong song writing of Tilbrooke/Difford and Albern with a smattering of ethereal Brian Wilson, washed down with a flagon of Absynth and arsenic. Check out Burning Ships for the ethereal dream or Coney Island High for the savage expose of the frailties of the human psyche.
